Explore Glacier National Park

Activity Guide

Glacier National Park, the Flathead National Forest, the Bob Marshall Wilderness and the Great Bear Wilderness offer a variety of adventures and activities. In summer enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, boating and white water rafting. In winter there is groomed and untracked cross-country skiing as well as two downhill ski resorts to choose from only 40 minutes away. The sunsets and star gazing are dependably gorgeous and you might glimpse the northern lights.

Stay at the Lodge for a day and spoil yourself with a treatment from Remedies Day Spa. Check at the front desk for playing cards, puzzles, games, badminton. Test your skills at ping-pong and shuffleboard in the Terrace Room until 10:00pm. Also let the front desk know if you would like to be awakened for bear sightings or northern lights.

The Belton Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day during the summer season, and desk personnel are happy to assist you with your activity planning. There are many ways to experience Glacier National Park and its surrounding area for all types of visitors, from scenic drives to high adventure in the back country.
